MTC bus falls from Gemini fly over. Due to
drivers rash driving caused major accident .Over 30 people got injured in this
accident .The injured people was admitted in Apollo and Royapettah general
hospital.
The bus
fell from a height of over eight feet but the slope along the flyover reduced
the impact of the fall. “The flyover is over 14 feet high. But the accident
took place on the ramp that goes towards Nungambakkam and G.N.Chetty Road,” .
The bus
driver and conductor was arrested and booked cases on them.
CM
responded on this issue announced 25k for severly injured and 10k for mild
injuries.In her statement she directed the officials to give the best treatment
for the accident victims.
