Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa slams Railway announcement

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Tuesday condemned the Railway's announcement increasing luggage and parcel rates .The parcel rates got increased to a minimum of 25% .She demanded for  an immediate rollback .

Jayalalitha said already the people were suffering due to steep increase in the petrol price, the new announcement of the Railways only added insult to the injury.

Most of the goods were transported by trains this hike would affect the poor and small traders who carried their luggage in trains , she said, and called for the immediate rollback.
