YS Vijayalakshmi’s filed a petition in the Supreme Court asking the court to order an enquiry into TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s assets.The case came to hearing today.
For over 2 hours, Mukul Rohtagi and Ram Jethmalani argued for Vijayalakshmi and AK Ganguly argued for Chandra Babu Naidu.The Court supported an earlier order of the High Court of AP striking down petition. The court opined that the petition was politically motivated and the petitioner did not approach the court with clean hands. The court has given clean chit to Chandrababu .This is a major victory for Chandra babu as Jagan’s Sakshi media has been relentlessly running a campaign alleging that Naidu resorted to corruption during his 9years government.
