Rajahmundry in danger of Flood

Godavari is moving towards to make a historical flood.As the downpour is still continuing from different states i.e.., Maharastra, Chattisgarh and North Telangana the river has attained a dangerous look.River Godavari has already surrounded Rama temple in Bhadrachalam.This flood will be the third dangerous flood in history.In 1986 at Cotton Barriage near Dhavaleswaram it has been reached 35 lakh cusecs,In August 2006 it has been reached up to 36 lakhs cusecs in the same place.This time it is going beyond the floods occured in Srisailam in the year 2009.In the year 2009 krishna flood has been reached to 26 lakhs cusecs of water in Srisailam dam. In Khammam few regions faced recorded rainfall of  50 cms in a single day.
