Education Commissioner Ajay Jain has announced that the Dates for Engineering Counseling will be announced after the decisions taken in this week.There was a delay in the Counseling part as there are discussions going on about the fees to be taken up by the colleges for this academic year.The counseling may start at the end of this month and the dates will be finalized this week.

The separate state for telangana issue has made the students of Andhra not to study in OU.It became a curse for a girl student recently who secured 56th rank in the Chemistry division of Osmania University PG entrance test.When she came to attend counseling on july 6th she was discriminated by Telangana professors and students unions.She was threatened not to attend for counseling.she pleaded them to allow her to go through the counseling as she didnot attend any other exam except that of OU.She met chief minister Kiran KumarReddy on tuesday and pleaded for justice.
