A plane with about 153 people on board has
crashed into buildings in a densely populated district of Nigeria's main city
of Lagos. All 153 was killed in this plane crash .
According to the airlines , The MD-83, operated
by privately owned domestic carrier Dana Air, was coming into land on a flight
from the capital Abuja when it hit the building, not far from Lagos's Murtala
Muhammed Airport, at 2:44 p.m. (1344 GMT) and burst into flames.
The crash had "sadly plunged the nation into
further sorrow on a day when Nigerians were already in grief over the loss of
many other innocent lives in the church bombing in Bauchi state", the statement
said by President Jonathan .He ordered the fullest possible investigation into
the crash.
