Is it right for politicians to earn money illegally?

Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, on ABN Andhra Jyothi’s show Big Debate on Saturday expressed
his view on politicians illegally earning money. He pointed out that Y S Jagan’s assets that amounted
to 7 crore INR in 2004 suddenly amounted to 430 crore INR in 2011, which was an unbelievable
increase. He further went on to say that Y S Jagan has not disagreed with the fact that there has
been a sudden increase in his assets but he simply said that those who benefited in his father’s
regime invested in Y S Jagan’s companies and claims that he is not at fault for the increase in his
assets. Undavalli further expressed regret towards the attitude of “Share my troubles but I will enjoy
my happiness alone” that is prominent in most people these days.
