Doctor Madhusudan Sharma’s family experienced 3 hrs of panic on Saturday when their daughter,
medical student, Swetha was kidnapped. Swetha’s family approached the police when they received
a ransom call from the kidnappers asking for 3 crore INR. The police took immediate action and
successfully caught the kidnapper and saved Swetha. Swetha, who is a PG student at the SRI Medical
College in Mangalagiri is the wife of Doctor Machiraju Raghuveer and is 5 months pregnant. The
police uncovered that the car driver who drove her to and from college everyday was the one who
had planned and orchestrated the kidnapping.
