TDP Activists Arrested

In a twist to the NTR statue demolition case, the police arrested three TDP activists. The police said the TDP activists has damaged the NTR statue at Prakashnagar in the town last month to fix their political rivals.Circle Inspector Subba Rao said that the accused were arrested with evidence about their involvement in the case. Although, the police initially suspected some YSRCP leaders , they later got clues from the TDP camp itself.And so they arrested the TDP activists. Police produced Phani Kumar, Srihari and Gopichand in a local court.They are to be in judicial demand till july 22nd. The three people said that they were away from the town when the incident took place.
